Bio

John Rodzvilla currently lives in Stoneham, Massachusetts. He works in a variety of media. His work has been shown throughout the United States.

John started painting in high school and continued to take classes throughout his time at Skidmore College. While at Skidmore he focused on drawing and printmaking. After college, he moved to Boston where he continued to work on smaller pieces in the North End and Jamaica Plain. He moved to Malden in 2004 and had a studio there with his wife, Michelle McCauley. In 2013 they moved to Stoneham, MA.

John is currently the Senior Electronic-Publisher-in-Residence at Emerson College. He is the editor of the first collection of weblog writings,We've Got Blog: How Weblogs Are Changing Our Culture. He holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. When he's not teaching or painting, he is a consultant on digitization and new media and lectures and writes within the library community on the role of new technology in scholarship and information services.
